    “Oltre le Rovine” is a path of research and training, between shortcomings and deprivations, a lugubrious and harrowing proceeding that, telling stories of defeats and falls, always poisedbetween end and beginning, death and life, like a phoenix or a uroboro, leads to a kind of Bildung. The texts chase the suggestive, ancient word, weigh it, and show off a nihilism clinging to hopes of eternity. The sound feeds on all the influences of the line up and describes well a journey made of lights and shadows. To a prophetic and visionary black, to atmospheres suggested with post-black brush strokes, to reflective and intimate moments, the quintet, through labyrinthine and complex dynamics, arrives at crust and blackened hardcore restarts, intense climaxes and more urgent and feral moments. There are, in the middle, unexpected rays of light, glimmers of optimism
